Other Volunteers

John “Rob” Robinson is Diana’s Dad, he lives a couple of miles down the road from the Berryman’s and took early retirement to move to Spain. He loves to take people out in the evenings and is seriously into motor bikes and motor racing.

Doreen Robinson is Diana’s Mum, she has also retired early and is enjoying her new life in the sun. Her claim to fame is that she used to play the cornet in the Fleetwood Sea Cadets so don’t let her near any brass instruments!

Wendy Robinson is Diana’s sister, she doesn’t live in Spain all the time but visits regularly and always comes on outings with us.

"We all want to make your holiday unforgettable."

About Antequera

Antequera

Antequera is a medieval market town known as the heart of Andalucia because of it’s central location between Malaga, Granada, Sevilla and Cordoba. The town has excellent motorway access and is approximately 45 minutes from Malaga airport and Granada airport and about 5 minutes from the new Antequera airport which is due to be completed in the next few years. It is a 1 hour drive to the cities of Sevilla and Granada and 45 minutes from all the attractions of the Costa Del Sol.

Indians Head MountainAntequera is set in the middle of an agricultural plain, surrounded by mountains, the most famous of which is the Indians Head or Lovers Leap or locally known as “Geronimo”. There are the remains of a Moorish castle overlooking Antequera and there are some stunning views from the castle walls.

Just a few miles outside of Antequera is the El Torcal National Park which is full of stunning limestone rock sculptures, a definite must see.
